Dr. Kagimoto has 7 years of experience in ophthalmology and biotech industries. He founded Aqumen Biopharmaceuticals, K.K. in April 2005. Prior to Aqumen, Dr. Kagimoto did his residency at Hamanomachi Hospital's Department of Ophthalmology and Kyushu University Hospital. Dr. Kagimoto received his MD from Kyushu University of Medicine, where he researched angiogenesis during his doctoral studies. Dr. Kagimoto has won the honorary title of 1st Youth Economic New Star Award in East Asia, which is sponsored by the All-China Youth Federation, Development Association for Youth Worker and Korea-China Youth Culture Exchange Association.
